Lessons learnt scaling a big mainstream RESTful API

Running public APIs is something that’s becoming pretty mainstream as your business grows. From 2009, while I was at JustGiving, we launched a RESTful API built in ASP.NET MVC with a few extensions. Along the way, we learnt a few things, and solved a few problems. Here’s the slide-deck for my “lessons learnt” retrospective session:
